The Kind of Place I would Like to Work: CERN!

Here's an article from a recent Business Week. It details the collaborative project CERN, a particle accelerator in Europe. Although it took many years to develop this project and the culture that defines its leadership I think that organizations can learn from the model that has evolved. Hopefully healthcare will catch this bug and implement some of the ideas of communities of practice that CERN realized were crucial to innovation.
